Health and safety protocols in place included a smaller field (less than 300 registrations compared to around 900 in previous years) and runners starting in waves. SECOND PHOTO: Kalia Kaneta, 14 (right) and Lynn Pustelnik, 15, face off in the 14-17 girls’ section on Saturday. THIRD BELOW: Men’s 10K winner Sage Sarchet from Wailuku gives a shaka after the race.
