SpaceX delivers 5,500 books to ISS

SpaceX launched its Falcon 9 rocket Saturday on the heels of a capsule destroyed in April and a plane electric problem Friday. On Monday morning, he completed a delivery to the International Space Station.

The Dragon non-towed spacecraft, containing 5,500 pounds of supplies, equipment and materials, including more than 250 scientific investigations and research on the ISS, was captured by the station's robotic arm Monday morning at 4:01 am . It was then installed on the station's Harmony module at 6:32 am PT.

NASA on Monday tweeted a time-lapse video captured cargo ships.

After four weeks at the ISS, the Dragon, with a cargo of 4,400 pounds, will leave the space station and begin returning to Earth, splashing in the Pacific Ocean near Baja California.

SpaceX's first Dragon mission was successful in March when it delivered 400 pounds of supplies and equipment. This mission also had its own setbacks.

SpaceX did not immediately ask for a comment.
