State Fair Concerts moving indoors due to weather forecast | KLIN

The Nebraska State Fair has decided to move two concerts from their outdoor locations to the Heartland Event Center, according to Bill Ogg, executive director. Kevin Costner & Modern West, originally scheduled to perform on the Bristol stage at Anderson Auto Sports Field, will be relocated to the Bristol stage at the Heartland Event Center.

Given the HEC seating configuration, the $ 31 booth tickets will now include the option of 1,000 seats in addition to standing on the arena floor. General admission tickets for seats in the arena bowls are available for $ 21. The concert will begin at the initially scheduled time of 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2021.

Christian band We Are Messenger’s concert, scheduled for September 1, 2021 at 7:00 p.m., will now be held at the Heartland Event Center. It was originally planned for the Pump & Pantry Pepsi Party Deck. Free general admission to We Are Messenger is included with the purchase of the Fair gate ticket. We want to provide the safest and most enjoyable environment possible for everyone who attends the State Fair, according to Ogg.

Many of the logistics necessary for these adjustments are underway for a successful transition. Potential heavy rains and adverse weather conditions justified moving the concerts indoors.
