In December 2017, a man in his fifties was sent to Motala by the US Eyelid Clinic to be examined after suffering from a severe visual impairment. The study, which was examined twice by two experienced radiologists at the Linköping Radiology Clinic, found a cyst in the head.

Just three weeks later, a neuro radiologist in the United States examined the results and described the cyst, which was primarily considered an arachnoidalcysta, a fluid-filled blow between the soft brain and the spinal cord. However, when he could not explain the visual impairment, a magnet camera survey was entered.

The survey was conducted almost six months later, in May 2018.

A tumor was found. One can also discern the tumor on the photographs of the first investigation conducted in December 2017.

The miss is now notified to the inspection of care and care, as an event that "could have caused serious damage to the health."

The Linköping Radiological Clinic says that routines have been tightened after failure.
