The best Swedish cherries cuttings were presented in the Chark-SM 2018 and, among others, the best Christmas hams, liver pies, bacon, falukorven and roasting basket were named.
The winners are from large and small carcass manufacturing companies across the country. The best bean products also receive a golden quality seal to help and guide consumers. In Chark – SM, the charkonnets are competing in 17 different categories, ranging from the best hawks, meatballs, Christmas buns and sausages to the best smoked and air – dried carcasses. The 700 or so farms competing with 55 companies were blinded by around 40 judges.
"It's amazing to see which upper class is in our Swedish carcasses, who says you have to go to Italy to eat a good air-dried?" It was tenth from Chark-SM and our judges testified that the quality only improved each year. Our consumers are more and more eager to consume good quality products when we choose to eat meat and carcasses, and our Swedish companies have really understood it, "said Annika Altskär, Chark-SM.
