When a company owned by the Storuman municipality in Västerbotten sold an industrial property to a private company, the company followed a fire station by mistake, said Lokaltidningen.
Now the municipality corrects the buyer, JLO Fastigheter, and demands that the building be re-owned municipally, writes TT, citing the local newspaper.
In the store, built four years ago, the property of Montören 1 was sold for 4.2 million SEK. What the municipality has forgotten is that another property – storage 1, used as a municipal reserve and as a fire station – has been merged with Montören 1. The real estate world can say that the property in question is located on two sides of a street, Industrigatan. The property contains a total of 6.600 m² of premises.
"We quickly discovered that an error had occurred," says Tomas Mörtsell (C), Storuman City Council, in Lokaltidningen.
In the lawsuit, which has now been submitted to the Lycksele District Court, the municipality claims that the buyer should have realized that storage 1 would not be included in the purchase.
Lennart Olofsson, owner of Cloudberry Estates where JLO Real Estate is included, opposes the requirements of the municipality.
– We paid for the property and have all the required documents. Reporter the fact that the agreement was a mistake is strange, says Olofsson.
According to the local newspaper, the municipality will receive an offer to buy the property for 10 million Swedish kronor. But now, we choose to try to recover the building by suing the owner, Cloudberry, who finds it incomprehensible that the municipality later claims that it does not know what it sells.
"The natural thing was to buy back the property, but it was not done by the municipality. Now, it goes like this and suits a lot to me and to the company with a lot of money. money, says owner Lennart Olofsson in Lokaltidningen.
The municipality argues that the buyer should have realized that the fire station and the city council would not have gone into the purchase and now claims that the district court will decide that they have more than rights on the property or that the buyer will pay four million dollars to the property.
