We are facing a cyclical slowdown, as automation changes the labor market and imposes new requirements for conversion possibilities. The next government must come out of the paralysis of action and implement comprehensive reforms to strengthen the competitiveness of workers and Sweden

The Union is the largest union in Sweden. We have 650,000 civil servants in the private sector, many of whom are at the forefront of technology development and operate on the world stage.

For us, it is crucial to understand how the outside world affects business conditions and what is coming in the future. For the Swedish economy to thrive, it is important to tackle the problems that hinder economic development and increase the risk of a recession. The Swedish party model is the main guarantor of stability and growth.

Through responsible parties, employers and employees have for decades laid the foundation for community development that has made Sweden a leader in the field of knowledge. The Union will assume our responsibility for development, but politicians will also have to take their part.

The Union has identified a number of measures that the next government should take quickly.

• Facilitate entry into the labor market. In practice, unemployment of workers of national origin has been at a very low level, while people born abroad are facing great difficulties. Institutional work is one example. It will help newcomers and the long-term unemployed to enter the job market in dark conditions.

• Ensure the provision of skills. Nearly half of the country's private civil servants require additional training, which can not be provided by their employers, but the obstacles are numerous. There must be more teaching places that are adapted to the conditions and needs of professional workers in colleges and universities. The university also needs resources to validate its professional qualifications and the student system needs to be reformed.

• Make the transition easier. The rules of the tour are often accused of leading to a rigid labor market, where the jurisdiction does not matter. This is a myth Through collective agreements, companies have the opportunity to retain the necessary skills when they are dismantled. However, it is based on the fact that the rules of the crisis are the basis of the negotiation.
