"We do not have a store in Linköping today, but we are starting a strong expansion, so it's clear that Linköping will join the group," said Bent Holm, CEO of Dollarstore.
The new department store will be built in Mörtlösa, between K-rauta and Byggmax, and the new department store of the low price chain will reach 4,700 square meters.
Dollarstore is looking for people
"This will be our biggest store and we will have to hire between 15 and 20 people, we look forward to the establishment.
Recruitment work will start in January and the opening will take place in mid-June. The chain that sells everything from home decor to party gadgets, but also consumables, detergents, shampoo and soap plans to open another store in Linköping.
Important situation
"We do it, but the situation is crucial, so it depends, but we think there might be room for two shops in Linköping," says Bent Holm.
Dollarstore is on the offensive and has grown from 380 to 565 employees in two years. During the 2017 fiscal year, the company recorded a pre-tax positive profit of more than SEK 54 million, compared with SEK 49 million for the same period of the previous year.
