The party contacted the MP for a explanation of why the money moved.
– But we did not think the member was giving a reasonable explanation. Then the member had a week to pay the full amount, otherwise we would do a police report. The money has never returned, so a police investigation is under way, "explains Jähnke.
She also says that in the context of theft, the member has been addicted to gambling for a long time. Something that shocked both the party and the MP's family.
– This is obviously a great tragedy, says Anna Jähnke, adding that the MP is no longer in the party.
The moderators of Helsingborg despite the theft, will continue the campaign as planned.
– It is clear that this will affect the electoral movement to a certain extent, but we enjoy good support from the National Organization. Such events are difficult but we can get it as it comes. At this moment, we are waiting for the police investigation, "says Jähnke.
