– In the past, we had one or two men who spent hours every day cutting and / or picking bullets, says Mattias Wullf. Now, it's all about himself.

Mattias Wullf reports that the system has been running for a few weeks and that the robot that selects the bullets is becoming more and more efficient.

– It is controlled in one way or another and inscribed in the rankings where there are the most balls. better. This makes entering numbers faster.

Now the selector returns. He flies to his charging station where he will also empty his balls.

– The picker takes 300 bullets before it is full. And it's about 40 minutes. This is how it lasts 24 hours a day.

The robot passes on a small grid then opens a hole underneath. The balls roll in a hole and lower under the ground.

And there is the following finesse with the system. Mattias Wullf says:

– The balls roll in a small vessel where they are washed before being sent by means of compressed air in a pipe back to the ball machine at the rank.

So everything is now completely automatic. Mowing the lawn, picking balls, washing and filling

– This is a huge win for everyone really. This means that we who work with the track can spend more time where we need it most. Otherwise, it took several hours a day for one or two people.

In addition, there is an environmental and safety aspect to emphasize.

– It is primarily a workplace for us in the staff. Even though no one cut or picked a bullet, there were several incidents. It has been closed several times, but now we do not have to do it.

According to Mattias Wullf, the system only has a dozen lanes. Omberg had earlier plans, but he has not hit yet.

– It is the third generation system and now we know that all the childhood diseases that can occur in a brand new system have disappeared. This seems very reliable and until then it worked very well.
