One of the biggest profiles of the automotive industry, Sergio Marchionne, went into the aftermath of an operation. He became famous for "saving" both Fiat and Chrysler.
According to information in the Italian media, Sergio Marchionne left in a heart attack. He was operated on at the end of June but had complications and was transported to Zurich University Hospital.
FCA President, Fiat / Chrysler, John Elkann writes the following:
"Unfortunately, we were scared Sergio Marchionne, the man and the friend, are gone. "
" I think the best way to honor his memory is to build on the legacy he's bequeathed us, by continuing to develop a sense of personal responsibility and the opening that he masters fully. "
