On Friday night, SJ decided to stop all ticket sales on some X2000 trains after realizing that the air conditioner was not coming with it.
– It was very dry and for a long time, the air conditioning is hard to bear. Especially in the latter part of the day, many of them fell, says Dan Olofsson on SJ 's press release.
The dry air caused the accumulation of dust and pollen and temperatures of about 30 degrees.
– Therefore, we now want to save the number of seats so that we can carry passengers from some cars to others, says Dan Olofsson.
30 departures concerned
So it is only on individual cars that the air conditioner has stopped working, so SJ does not put trains. By cons, it is no longer possible to buy tickets for 30 departures that otherwise left tickets. This mainly applies to Stockholm-Gothenburg and Stockholm-Malmö, as well as to the unique departures between Stockholm and Sundsvall.
During the weekend, you will take all the trains and offer an extra service to overcome the problems.

SJ will consider whether to make some changes to adapt the plants to warmer temperatures in the future.
