– The Board of Directors has decided to terminate the activities of Solidar Fonder AB. All customers have been eliminated and are now placed in other equivalent alternatives or in AP7, confirms Krister Sjöblom, CEO of Solidar Funds, in a text message to Expressen.
Last spring, Solidar was expelled from the pension fund, in part because the company had broken laws and regulations and started its actions regarding mutual fund interests.
Before that, the company had Finansinspektionen (FI) has issued a warning and a fine of 10 million SEK.
The money of the 67,000 savers for pensions placed in the funds of Solidar was transferred to the State Fund AP7 Såfa.
Solidar asked FI to return its licenses.
According to Expressen, the company has considered options for transferring funds to a new company but failed.
