Tesla and Volvo hybrid electric cars Finansavisen adds that, at the end of 2015, less than 2,000 of these cars were sold, writes the newspaper, while the number has already crossed the bar 10,000 this year.

Among these are Teslas models, as well as more expensive versions of Volvo's hybrids and German brands such as Audi and Mercedes-Benz.

According to Finansavisen, supermarket cars represent the highest share of the luxury car market. As a result, the very strong growth is expected to continue. Next year, new models like Jaguar I-Pace, Audi E-Trone Quattro, Taycan Porsche and Mercedes-Benz EQC are expected to be sold in this segment.

The magazine sets the limit for luxury of about a million. This means that some copies of the same model may be above or below the line.
