The White Guide has for many years published guides on restaurants and cafes. For the first time, the time is at the hotel guide.
The jury selected 100 hotels in Sweden, including two in the Far East. One of them is the Lamp Hotel in Norrköping, whose owner, Magnus Malm, is surprised that we are asking for a comment.
– I did not know that. What glory! We have invested heavily in the hotel, so it is fun to pay off.

The new Lamps spa department – an investment of 85 million Swedish kroner – has no doubt impressed the jury.
"The goal of Splash was to increase occupancy Friday-Sunday and it was really a success.With our own restaurant and the Gin, this neighborhood has become a tourist destination," said Magnus Malm.
The Quality Hotel The Box in Linköping opened its doors until this spring. Hotel manager Jacob Corlin points out that the staff is a success factor, but also the building itself.
– The hotel is really clean in terms of construction. It's a special experience to come here.
How did this first semester go?
– beyond expectations Hotel capacity in Linköping increased by 11% in 2018 and clearly affected occupancy rates. But we have done well and are optimistic for 2019.
The hotels in the guide have been rated according to four criteria: accommodation / comfort, service, food / drink and design / environment / mood. How many points did the different hotels have until the December 3rd launch?
