Prime Minister Theresa May said after a five-hour meeting on Wednesday.
She also said that the elections were between this agreement – which puts an end to the free movement of workers, protects British jobs and maintains British unity – and no agreement at all.
"This agreement allows us to recover the check," she said.
Theresa May admitted that the elections were tough, especially in Northern Ireland. Decisions were not easy to make.
At the next stage, Parliament must approve the agreement.
The pound sterling was first strengthened on the news and then retreated slightly.
