Mario Riatsch of Sent in the Lower Engadine is delighted with his discovery: on July 8, the hunter was up at the Piz S-chalambert to observe the chamois. Just below the summit, however, Riatsch noticed strange marks on a plaque. He reported his spectacular discovery to the archaeological department of Graubünden. The archaeological department first contacted the expert Rico Stecher who, a week later, brought Riatsh to the site at 2850 m altitude. climb.
