In the end, confusion prevailed. Christian Stucki and Joel Wicki broke away in the final stage with a draw. After going to the Wicki umpire's office, however, showed a cheering fist. It took another few minutes before three winners of celebrations were called.

Wicki was able to catch up with Stucki on points, as he received a quarter of a point more than Stucki in the last inning because of his more active vibration mode. Both finished the festival with a total of 58.50 points. Christian Schuler has exactly the same amount after six courses. Thus, the Rothenthurmer can also call the winner of the festival.

Central Swing Festival Ruswil

5. Gang

Joel Wicki and Christian Stucki are in the final run around 5 pm: Wicki defeated Benji in fifth gear of Ah, Christian Stucki left no chance to Marcel Bieri. Stucki reserves the chance to win one of the few victories in Central Switzerland. In the past 40 years, only three athletes have succeeded.

In addition to Marcel Bieri and Benji von Ah, Stefan Arnold could have recommended himself with a win for the last race. Uri lost to Christian Schuler.

4. Gang

After four races, Christian Stucki is now at the top of the rankings. The fourth victory, he landed against Reto Nötzli. Stucki came after a few seconds to the result and was able to save forces, which could be decisive in high temperatures.

Behind Stucki four Swiss have four wins: Joel Wicki won against Martin Zimmermann, Marcel Bieri against Erich Fankhauser, Benji of Ah against Steven Moser, Stefan Arnold against Christian Bucher.

3. Gang

Christian Stucki is also victorious in third gear. The Berner wins against Urner Matthias Herger, but not with the maximum score. After the lunch break, another stamina test should follow for Stucki. Possible candidates could be Sven Schurtenberger, who introduced Stucki to Central Switzerland and Unspunnen last season.

In addition to Stucki, there are a number of locals, all of whom have wins. Especially, the favorite Joel Wicki, who managed to defeat Pascal Nietlispach. Also Benji d'Ah, Reto Nötzli, Erich Fankhauser, Marcel Bieri, and a bit surprisingly Stefan Arnold have a white jacket. Arnold was able to beat Bruno Gisler, guest of the Nordwestschweizer. Gisler won the title in 2013 at Emmen.

The ranking for half of the competition of Christian Stucki, Reto Nötzli and Marco Fankhauser – all with the total of 29.75. Fankhauser still has no Swiss Confederate on the scoresheet.

2. Gang

The two most cited favorites are after two runs with two wins: Joel Wicki beats Remo Odermatt – as in first gear convinced Wicki with his ground work. Christian Stucki gets his second maximum mark against Andreas Ulrich. Stucki is not spared by the classification as expected. In third gear should follow for him a next high level opponent.

Reto Nötzli (against Andreas Arnold), Marcel Bieri (Martin Felder), Erich Fankhauser (Beat Roher) and Benji von Ah (Marcel Arnold) also have two victories. A little unexpectedly, Christian Schuler loses points. After his opening win, he did not oppose Marco Heiniger during a draw. Matthias Sempach scores first victory against Ralf Schelbert

1. Gang

Joel Wicki highlights his ambitions for the final victory at the Schwilfest of Central Switzerland in Ruswil. Entlebucher, 21, won the first match against Matthias Sempach, the king of the fight in 2013. Wicki cautiously attacked the tough task against Sempach and beat him after a good minute on the ground.

Another co-favorite started with Christian Stucki. He beat Uri Andi Imhof with a short copy and cashed the maximum score. Stucki was already at last year's Festival of the Central Swiss Association in Alpnach and finished second.

On the whole, the Swiss of the first division seemed determined and decided the best courses for themselves. There were victories for Christian Schuler (against Patrick Räbmatter), Andreas Ulrich (against Roger Erb), Benji von Ah (against Domenic Schneider), Reto Nötzli (against Bruno Gisler) or Marcel Bieri (against Johann Borcard). Sven Schurtenberger and Florian Gnägi separated in a draw.
