A 31-year-old man ignored the police stop sign shortly after 1 pm and headed straight for a policewoman. When she jumped to the side, she was injured, reports the cantonal police St.Gallen. After a short drive, the fleeing driver could be stopped. The driver was classified as unable to drive and ordered a blood and urine sample. He was temporarily arrested.

In addition, three drivers unable to drive were identified, two drivers were reported inebriated, two were on alert and one vehicle was not safe.
