Saturday morning, a fire broke out on the twelfth floor of a residential building in Martinach. Four people were injured. The forces quickly controlled the fire. The cause of the fire is still not clear.
As the cantonal police wrote in a communication, a person had to be brought by helicopter from Air Glaciers to the Lausanne Hospital. Three other people were exposed to smoke poisoning and were transported to Martinach hospital for treatment.
All residents of the building were evacuated, but in the meantime they were able to return to their apartment. How he could come to the fire on the 12th floor is currently unclear. An investigation has been opened.
