In Erstfeld, on Sunday morning, a 20-year-old Urner crashed his car. He and his passenger were not injured. On Sunday, July 29, 2018, shortly after 8:00, a 20-year-old Urner, accompanied by a 21-year-old colleague, was driving a passenger car on the Gotthardstrasse from Schattdorf to Erstfeld. Immediately before the village Erstfeld, after the local underpass, the driver lost control of the car. The two occupants of the vehicle were fortunately injured in this accident.
