Like the father's son
The father of Alexander, Reynold Tschäppät (1917-1979) was also Mayor of Berne. During his tenure, he accompanied the construction of the new ice rink. He also ensured that SC Bern, on November 28, 1970, could make his first league match in the indoor stadium.
