During the one-year integration prelude, participants gain practical basic skills, academic and linguistic. In addition, they work in a company about three days a week. Refugees and persons provisionally admitted should therefore be prepared for genuine learning.

The project will begin in August in nine professions. Integration courses are possible in the automotive industry, maintenance, retail, catering, horticulture, building cleaning, construction services, construction of lanes and logistics. Up to now, more than 80 pre-employment integration contracts have been received by the Cantonal and Vocational Office of the Canton of Zurich

The canton works closely with the companies and the professional associations involved in the project. In the field of logistics, the first apprentices were able to gain experience with learning to integrate into a pilot project. They were able to create one at Planzer and at the post office last year

The project "Integrationsvorlehre" is to last four years.
