In a traffic accident between a passenger car and a motorcycle in the Welsikonerstrasse in Dägerlen on Thursday night, the handlebars of the motorbike were fatally injured.
According to the cantonal police, the 71-year-old car driver drove shortly after 19:30 from Seuzach to Welsikon. At the Hanfland bus stop, he wanted to turn left into the main road towards Benk.

His car collided with a motorcycle in the direction of Seuzach. Despite the immediate measures of resuscitation, the doctor was able to determine that the 47-year-old motorcyclist died. The passenger driver remained unscathed. The exact cause of the accident is unknown and will be clarified with the prosecutor.
