A freight train from CFF Cargo derailed on Thursday on an open lane near the Eglisau ZH station. According to the SBB, no one was injured. The journey on the Zurich – Schaffhausen line is interrupted between Bülach and Eglisau until Friday morning.
As CFFs announced in the evening about the Twitter short message service, jumped for reasons still blurred two trains from a freight train. Neither people were injured nor did the dangerous goods leak. The railway company did not provide any information on the damage.
Replacement buses have been in service between Bülach and Hüntwangen-Wil since 9.30 pm. The S-Bahn turned to Bülach and Eglisau. Long-distance traffic has also been affected. This was redirected via Winterthur. According to the CFF, the interruption of the railway line is expected to continue until 5 am
