In particular, the encouraging development in these areas has led to an acute shortage of space, so that the GIBZ has had to outsource various offers in recent years. "More than 1300 young people start an apprenticeship each year in the canton of Zug, half of whom visit the GIBZ," says the rector of the Beat Wenger school in the press release. New Independent Building

Five years ago, the cantonal council approved a loan of 25.71 million francs. "The decision of the Cantonal Council at the time to approve an additional hull for the hull 5 of the GIBZ was looking towards the future," says Hürlimann in retrospect.

Therefore, the Baudirektion to the Cantonal Council immediately requested the complete extension of the sixth floor and the parliament also approved the application. This extension costs 580,000 francs, but can be supplemented in the total credit already approved by the Cantonal Council.

"Today, I note that with the expansion of the sixth floor, all health professions can be taught both practically and theoretically at GIBZ," Hürlimann continues in the statement Press.
