According to the federal government, about 25,000 children and young adults meet the criteria for easier naturalization. This procedure is only applicable to persons born in Switzerland who have attended school in Switzerland for at least five years and who have a C establishment permit.

It is also a condition that those who are ready to naturalize are well integrated. They must also make credible, with the official documents, that at least one grandparent has a right of residence in Switzerland.

Another condition is that a parent has obtained a school permit, has remained in Switzerland for at least ten years and has been to school for at least five years visited. The application can be submitted only until the age of 25, during a transitional period of five years until the age of 35 years.
