Eglisau ZH station lanes repaired S-Bahn and Interregio trains resumed normal operation on both lanes at 1700 hours, the SBB said. For international traffic, the route is released from 18:00.
The line on the Zurich – Schaffhausen line was interrupted for hours between Bülach and Eglisau on the night of Friday. At the beginning of the morning of Friday, the trains rolled most of the time again, but only single lane operation was possible.

The intercity trains between Zurich and Schaffhausen and the RE trains between Bülach ZH and Schaffhausen were canceled. Travelers have been redirected to connections via Winterthur.
