The watchmaker Fortis has a new hope: the Grenchen company has found a buyer.
AZ media reports report that a German businessman from the food industry is the company bought. The corresponding data from the commercial register confirm this fact.
The specific plans of the buyer for the watch manufacture are not yet known.
Fortis had to file a moratorium on financial issues in 2017 and there are only a few employees left. The company was founded in 1912.
