million. Kollegger, the bus test from Chur to Zurich airport at night and early morning will be extended until the autumn. How is it going?
Ralf Kollegger: We had a lot of positive feedback, so we decided to extend the test. Now during the autumn holidays you can also get to the airport very early by bus so you can check in at 5 am. We want to advance that in the fall so that we can make an informed judgment.

Will the network be further developed with this good feedback?
We are very open in this regard. One could imagine, for example, to install Sargans as a station to have a connection to the Rhine Valley St. Gallen. However, this is not possible at the moment

Looking to the future: If things continue to be good, will the bus service be a fixed offer or buses? will they only work in high season?
We will do it at the end of October decide definitively. Our goal would already be for us to become an extended arm of public transit and offer this connection permanently.

How did you attract attention?
We operated the usual channels. For example, we distributed leaflets to households in the area and contacted the travel agents. And most importantly, we have also disseminated a lot of information online.

It seems that this project is personally very dear to you. Is it true?
Yes, you can say it. I am very happy with this bus myself. It may also be due to personal experience: I was at the airport last year at 6 am and thought before arrival : "At 6 o'clock in the morning, surely no one at the airport." The wave of departure is already in full swing and many people are already leaving.

We are a little further from the airport and therefore at a disadvantage. We must always leave early by car or stay at the hotel. With this bus, we could break a spear and make the trip more comfortable for people. And for that we work with a lot of passion.
