The best lawyer of You're here (TSLA) leaves the company just two months after hiring, adding to a series of executives departures from Tesla.

Tesla's legal counsel, Dane Butswinkas, who had represented Musk in his legal battle with the Securities and Exchange Commission last fall before being hired as legal counsel for the company, resumed his duties in Washington, DC announced the company in a statement. Jonathan Chang, vice president of Tesla's legal department, immediately took over.
This is a fresh start among a series of Tesla leadership departures and follows the departure of Chief Financial Officer Deepak Ahuja last month.
In September, Dave Morton, Accounting Director at Tesla, resigned after a month of work. After that, Gabrielle Toledano, head of human resources of the company, left the same week.
The Tesla share fell 1%, closing at 302.56 today in the stock market.
Background on the Butswinkas
Before joining Tesla, Butswinkas represented Musk last fall in his legal battle against the SEC, stemming from Musk's August 7 tweet about the private acquisition of Tesla. He returns home to Washington, DC, and goes to his trial practice at Williams & Connolly.
"I look forward to continuing to work with Tesla in an external consulting role," Butswinkas said in a written statement. "I am grateful to have had the opportunity, over the last seven months, to work with both Elon and Tesla, first as an outside counsel and more recently as a 39, Advocate General. "
When Tesla first announced the hiring of Butswinkas in December, he issued a statement saying that working at Tesla offered a unique and inspiring opportunity.
"Tesla's mission is bigger than Tesla's, a crucial mission for the future of our planet," he said. "It's hard to identify a mission more timely, more essential or more worthy of being fought against."
