Bachelorette’s Joe Park receives COVID-19 vaccine as he documents four-step process on social media
- Bachelorette candidate Joe Park was one of the first to receive COVID-19 vaccination since launching earlier this week
- As a healthcare worker, he was one of the first categories of people to be offered the dose alongside residents of long-term care facilities, as he documented the four-step process.
- The Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine as well as the Moderna vaccine – whose emergency authorization for use is currently being determined – have side effects that can range from pain, headaches and fatigue.

Joe Park – who appeared in Tayshia Adams’ season of The Bachelorette – received the COVID-19 vaccine on Wednesday.
The 36-year-old New York-based anesthesiologist is one of the first to do so after the vaccine rolled out in the United States on Monday.
Documenting the step-by-step process on his social media, Park tried to reassure his followers while saying he would be informed of how he felt.

Filming himself with a mask and scrubs, he broke the process down into four steps.
‘Step 1: Register (when authorized).’
“Step 2: sign the consent.”
“Step 3: Get vaccinated”.
“Step 4: Be watched for 15 to 20 minutes.
Step 2: Sharing all the steps of the process on his Instagram, he walked his followers through the process saying they had to “ sign the consent ”

As a healthcare worker, Park was one of the first classes of people to be offered the dose alongside residents of long-term care facilities.
After having the test administered, he said that you must be professionally monitored before you are released.
Park added that people should take Tylenol for any “ injection site pain, ” before holding up a bag of gummy fruit snacks which, jokingly, were “ treats for being so vewy bwave, ” in baby talk.
Monitoring process: Park said that after receiving the vaccination, you should be monitored for 15-20 minutes

He then posted a sticker stating ‘I received my Covid-19 vaccine’, while writing that he would post an ‘honest assessment’ of any symptoms or feelings on days ‘1-3’ , as well as week, month and two month markers.

As promised, Park promises to provide updates on his journey as he tries to normalize immunization so the world can slowly rebuild itself.
Park was eliminated in week seven of The Bachelorette, as Tayshia’s journey to find love in the hit dating series ends in two episodes next week.
