MASON, Ohio – Sand Sable Gibson, a fourth-year student of Western Row Elementary School, died Wednesday of a cardiac arrest related to angina and flu, said Mason City Schools spokesperson, in a statement. message to parents.

"Sand was a big-hearted friend who loved pink," wrote Carson.
