CAP CANAVERAL, Florida (AP) – SpaceX delayed the launch of its latest mega-rocket because of the extremely dangerous wind.

The Falcon Heavy was to take off Wednesday night NASA Kennedy Space Center in Florida with a communications satellite. But SpaceX chief Elon Musk said the wind shear at altitude was extremely high.

SpaceX will try again on Thursday night. This will only be the second time that a Falcon Heavy soars. Last year's test flight had put into space a sports car – the Musk Convertible Tesla -. He is almost always in orbit around the sun with a mannequin driving.

The Falcon Heavy is the most powerful rocket used today. SpaceX will attempt to bring back two of the first-stage propellers to Cape Canaveral and the main propeller on an ocean platform.
