The real reason Republicans and their media discourage people from getting vaccinated

CNN medical analyst Dr. Jonathan Reiner said last week: “A surprising number of deaths will occur soon …” But why, as the deadly Delta variant sweeps the world, Republicans and their media are warn people do not to get vaccinated?

Dr Anthony Fauci told Jake Tapper on CNN last Sunday: “I don’t have a very good reason why this [unwillingness to get vaccinated] has passed.”

But even if he can’t think of a reason why Republicans would talk about vaccination and people would believe them, it certainly is.

That’s why it’s important to ask a few simple questions that all point to the real reason Republicans and their media discourage people from getting vaccinated:

1. Why did Trump get vaccinated in secret after Joe Biden won the election and his January 6 coup attempt failed?

2. Why do Fox News personalities discourage people from getting vaccinated while refusing to say whether they and the people they work with have been protected by the vaccination?

3. Why one of the biggest lines of applause at CPAC: “They were hoping – the government was hoping – that they could somehow get 90% of the population to get vaccinated and that’s not happening!

4. Why are Republican lawmakers in states across the country pushing laws that would “ban” private companies from asking to see proof of vaccine status (they call this “banning vaccine passports”)?

5. Why, when President Biden suggested sending door-to-door volunteers to communities with low vaccination rates to let people know how and where they could get vaccinated, is the right-wing media? mad at the “government thugs” who came to your door to “force” vaccines on you?

6. Why do about half of all Republicans in Congress refuse to say whether they have received a vaccine or not? Besides, why do the speakers at CPAC who trash vaccines refuse to say whether they are vaccinated or not?

7. Why would a Newsmax lodge vaccines in the trash saying, “I feel like a vaccination in a weird way usually goes against nature”?

8.Why did Republican Governor Kristi Noem of South Dakota downplay the dangers of Covid last week by bragging about never shutting down his state (and Ron DeSantis did) when SD has 230 Covid deaths per 100,000 people while similar low-population states like Vermont and Oregon have 41 and 66 deaths per 100,000 respectively?

I hope I’m wrong on this point, but the only possible explanation I can see for all of this activity that seems so well coordinated and largely cohesive is that they all think there is something going on for them. And what could it be?

Political power. And, of course, the eventual wealth that often comes with political power, especially corrupt power. Retired Republicans make a parcel silver.

Put simply, I believe these Republicans are trying to
promote outbreaks of Covid in America to soften or damage Joe Biden’s searing economy assuming that if the economy collapses, people will vote Democrats and vote Republicans in 2022 and 2024.

As Pat Buchanan wrote today: “Are the Democrats heading for their Little Bighorn, with President Joe Biden as Colonel Custer? Wish, you suggest, is the father of thought.

They are not only ready to
let tens or hundreds of thousands of Americans die just to win the next two elections, they are actively encouraging this result.

Death is their electoral strategy.

Is there another possible explanation?

They aren’t stupid (although they bet their audiences are, at least, misinformed) and most have college degrees (and Lauren Boebert eventually got her GED). Even though some of them have fallen into Facebook’s or YouTube’s den in anti-vaxxer territory, there is still no shortage of medical experts and Google-savvy staff at their disposal.

It’s pretty much possible that they hate and want to damage the United States, and a few vaccine “hesitant” like Ron Johnson and John Kennedy recently celebrated July 4 in Moscow, but it is little likely they would take the risk of coordinating with a foreign power to kill Americans (although much of the foreign trolls’ social media activity is also throwing vaccines at U.S. social media users).

Weird fake masculinity could be behind this, the way Trump tried to promote the idea that only weaklings wear masks, but seriously do you really think these people are taking fashion / appearance advice from a guy? obese geriatric with a huge comb that wears absurd amounts of makeup, contact lenses, diapers and false teeth? And what’s “masculine” about slowly dying while drowning in your own snot? Or become unable to get an erection, as happens to a significant number of men who contract Covid?

This is certainly not a fear or concern about the vaccine itself; Whether they admit it or not, virtually all of those Republicans and media stars telling people to be afraid of getting vaccinated have themselves been secretly vaccinated, just like Trump and his family were in January. As CNN medical analyst Dr. Jonathan Reiner said, “More than 100 members of Congress, all GOP members, refuse to tell their constituents if they have been vaccinated. They’ve all been vaccinated, each of these characters has been vaccinated. ”

It has nothing to do with “conservative” ideology either. Vaccination has been part of the American landscape ever since George Washington ordered his troops to be vaccinated against smallpox during the War of Independence, and Republican President Dwight Eisenhower (and his vice president, Richard Nixon) had vaccinated school kids across the country getting the polio vaccine in the 1950s (I was one of them who stood in line at school to get it and remember it well).

As Governor of California, Ronald Reagan oversaw a public school system that required vaccination for admission and conservatives like Bill Kristol and George W. Bush are proudly vaccinated against Covid. Mitch McConnell, who had polio as a child, said: “As a polio victim myself, I am a huge fan of vaccinations, and if I was a parent who had a child… being prone to contract a particular disease, I would. side with vaccinations. ”This is not about being afraid or not understanding vaccines.

They are certainly not paid by the “big pharmacies” to throw away the vaccines, and you can bet your last dollar that the billionaires who pay for big Republican events are not only vaccinated themselves but made sure all staff from their multiple mansions, from pool boy cooks to masseuses and home cooks are all vaccinated.

So what’s left?

Politics, and the power and money that comes with it.

The reason Donald Trump spent much of 2020 desperately encouraging people to keep shopping and working was because he knew that when an economy collapses in the 18 months leading up to an election, the party in power always loses.

In his desperation to get the economy back in shape, Trump even issued an executive order force most black and Hispanic slaughterhouse and abattoir workers returned to work under threat of imprisonment.

But, of course, the economy still collapsed and Democrats now control the White House, Senate, and House of Representatives.

So, it seems like the whole GOP strategy today to encourage ‘vaccine hesitancy’ is to try to replicate that dynamic, to bring the economy down, but this time in a way that works in favor. Republicans.

Encourage Americans to die so they can win elections. This is how far today’s GOP has fallen.
