Singer Tom Jones revealed in a TV interview that aired Friday that he had received a coronavirus vaccine, joking that he felt “bulletproof” after his second dose.

“I have had both and I am now bulletproof!” Jones said on The Graham Norton Show, according to a report by Daily mail.

“It’s a great feeling,” added the ennobled singer. “I thought to myself, ‘I’m going to be able to go out and do concerts now,’ but then I thought, ‘You have to have an audience for that!’ If they haven’t had it, what’s the point. ?

Amid the pandemic, Jones said music always helps keep his spirits up.

“I sing all over the house,” he continued. “I sing even though I don’t get paid for it! I love to sing; I really do and every chance I get to stand up and sing I will.

Jones celebrated his 80th birthday last summer. In an interview with The mirror Last year, the singer showed no signs of wanting to slow down or retire.

“I love birthdays,” Jones said. “People say, ‘How does it feel to grow old?’ But I say, ‘What’s the alternative?’ I don’t mind growing old because the memories are great.

“I don’t want to stop because God has been good to me and my voice is still there,” added the singer. “I want to do this as long as there is a breath in my body.”
