FOOTBALL SPLIT

Weber State football ended the non-conference game 3-5 after beating Oral Roberts 2-1 on Friday in Tulsa, Oklahoma, then losing 1-0 at Oklahoma State on Sunday, narrowly missing a chance to claim his second Big 12 road victory of the season.

Amy Kenny scored in the 77th minute to take WSU to victory for Oral Roberts, assisted by Aubrey Hadley. Morgan Furmaniak scored in the 16th minute. Kaytlin Bradley made four saves in goal.

In Oklahoma State on Sunday, the Wildcats pushed back long stretches where OSU parked their offense in front of Weber’s net, but OSU broke through moments in the second half with a goal from Gabriella Coleman.

Mekell Moss made three saves in goal for WSU. Weber State’s best scoring chance came 14 minutes from time when WSU sent a free kick towards the goal and OSU’s Evie Vitali made a diving save with a hit to the post.
