EL PASO COUNTY, Colorado (KRDO) – According to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, El Paso County has recorded 907 new cases of COVID-19 and 1 new COVID-related death during the last 24 hours.

Pueblo County has recorded an increase of 374 new cases of COVID-19. Starting Sunday at 5 p.m., Pueblo County goes red. Restrictions at this level include the end of indoor meals and the last alcohol call will be at 8 p.m.

Across Colorado, 15 more counties go red on Friday, November 20.

In a press conference on Friday, Governor Polis said that one in 49 Coloradan statewide is likely contagious. When asked how some counties are avoiding being moved to the red level, Polis said it was to give counties the opportunity to reverse their epidemics.

El Paso County moved to orange-level restrictions last Friday, November 13. On Tuesday, local leaders said they were supporting El Paso County to maintain the current restrictions.
