WWE announces potential injuries to Finn Balor and Kyle O’Reilly after New Years Main Event

Tonight’s WWE NXT The main event of New Year’s Evil saw Finn Balor beat Kyle O’Reilly to retain the NXT Title.

The brutal match lasted just over 17 minutes, without a commercial break, and saw Balor bust and bleed from his head towards the end. Balor worked on O’Reilly’s jaw for most of the game, while O’Reilly worked on his arm. Doctors also checked O’Reilly during and after the game.

WWE has just announced that the two contestants were taken to a local hospital after New Year’s Evil went missing. It has been noted that O’Reilly is having x-rays of his jaw, while Balor has his arm examined.

“BREAKING: After this grueling main event, the two @FinnBalor & @KORcombat are on their way to the hospital. Kyle has his jaw x-rayed and Finn has his arm examined. #NXTNYE, ”reported WWE.

Balor looked good after the game as O’Reilly sold the jaw injury. We will keep you informed of any developments.
