Facebook is testing a new feature to allow users to share events they wish to participate in their stories, so that they can coordinate with their friends and enjoy the events together. The feature will be available for Android and iOS users in some countries.
According to a report released Monday by TechCrunch, the test will involve a new "Share Your Story" option that appears when you visit the page of an event on Facebook.
"If they are shared, friends will see a teaser sticker in your story that includes the details of the event and allows friends to respond that they are also" interested "right from the narrative itself ", adds the report.
Friends can also tap the History sticker to visit the event page. Facebook also included a link built into the event's page, as well as a way to start a group chat on Messenger with the friends who responded.
The test is being rolled out to users in the US, Mexico, and Brazil, with users of Android and iOS apps eligible. To use the new test feature, go to the Events page, click Share under the date and time of the event, then press Share in the story.
