Alliance Motors held its annual test driving event at Aburi Botanical Gardens. The event aimed to give customers a chance to socialize and test the new Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles in both normal and off-road mode.
Tech Nova was present and we tested the range 2018 Rover Evoque .
Hands On
The interior of the Range Rover Evoque has an interesting configuration. You have your standard driver dashboard with an LCD screen between the instruments. The screen displays your fuel and oil gauge as well as the mode in which the car is located. If you switch from normal mode to off-road mode, the display gives an indication of the switch.
The Evoque has a different gearbox style. Instead of the standard stick, you have a dial that you turn to go to Park, Reverse, Neutral, Drive, or Sport mode . If you are not used to this, it will take a little time to get used to it. But after that, you realize how easy it is to change gears
The Evoque has a 10 "touch screen in the center of the dashboard. The mirrors activate when the driver puts the Evoque in reverse
The steering wheel has controls to navigate the touch screen, adjust the cruise control and the voice recognition.
The Range Evoque we drove had a beautiful panoramic roof, and motorists at the back would certainly have a great view when the car is in motion
Drive Test
Do not doubt the off-road capabilities of the car Range Rover Evoque.Even though it looks to be built to drive in the city, he managed to show impressive performance in off-road testing
From climbing steep muddy hills to hunt for rugged terrain, the Evoque will convince any off-road driver to reconsider his stance on it. Equipped with intelligent braking (which means that it's not necessary to manually apply the brakes during steep descents) for exceptional driving performance, Range Rover engineers seem show what they are capable of concerning the Evoque 2018.
