The moon is gone – or rather a giant replica of it.
Bristol-based artist Luke Jerram sent his giant orb, covered with images of the lunar surface, to a party in Austria.
is investigating after the 7m plot is lost.

M. Jerram said, "This has huge implications for all these people, I look forward to seeing this artwork, and they will not be able to do it because it's in a warehouse somewhere .. We do not have a spare part.

Every inch of the sphere illuminated internally represents 5 km from the surface of the moon
The floating work, enlightened and accompanied by music of different composers, was created in partnership with University of Bristol and the British Space Agency
M. Jerram recently completed work on a replica of the Earth, showing how the planet looks from space.
The sculpture of the Earth was recently unveiled at the Bluedot Music and Science Festival. Jodrell Bank in Cheshire.
