WhatsApp introduced a new feature in its latest update that allows users to easily access any deleted media file
The new update that allows users to download again multimedia files like images and videos locally from their file manager is available in the latest version of Whatsapp.
Although a specific date can not be given as to the running time, the last update would work perfectly well.
The Android Police team tested the feature for all types of media files like images, GIFs, videos, audio and documents and the functionality worked perfectly for all.
Files that users have deleted from Whatsapp can not be retrieved.
But the feature only works if users have deleted files from Gallery or File Manager.
However, after users have updated their Whatsapp to the latest version, they can access the media that was deleted from Gallery or File M anager by opening the Whatsapp conversation that contains the file.
To download the deleted files, users will see a bored thumbnail of the file with a download button on it.
They can then tap the icon to download the deleted files again.
In addition WHATSAPP has introduced a feature for users who think that this is still risky and do not want to keep the media files in the gallery due to privacy issues.
