The best example: when they are victims of a good fear to the old! Nothing like an unexpected ghost to relax things a little, and the chaos that results is almost always pure hilarity. From facial expressions worthy of mimicry to whole-body reactions that made us cry out laughing, these idols took one for the fans and (perhaps unwittingly) delivered all the LOLs. 1. The game of "Flinch" of the BTS
"Flinch" is a segment of "The Late Late Show with James Corden" designed to test the bravery of guests and discover which stars really have nerves in steel. Safely behind a bullet-proof glass, BTS members fought to keep their heads upright and unshakeable coolness as pressurized fruits were thrown at them – with varying degrees of success! The resulting reactions come from the legend of talk shows, and the slow motion cameras are pure gold. Only J-Hope has managed to fall with such a style!
2. Yerin VR Surprise from GFRIEND
When Weki Meki's Choi Yoojung planned a fun day of virtual reality games for Yerin of GFRIEND, she wanted to help her friend overcome her fear of heights. What Yerin did not know was that it meant she was going to be completely joked in the middle of the match! Yoojung's sneaky plan caused a hilarious shriek and a total thrill of Yerin's body as his character fell from the 106-storey street. His character continued to fall, and his reaction continued!
3. EXO's Chanyeol Scene Scare
Fireworks and confetti cannons are often part of the special effects of concerts and shows. So you think that experienced idols like Chanyeol from EXO are already used to it. Nope! As this compilation shows, the giant beagle of EXO is very subject to surprises by special effect. There are a handful of other hilarious Chanyeol fits mixed here, and even reactions from other EXO members! His nervousness only adds to his puppy personality, and is one of the many reasons why EXO-L loves him.
4. The ITZY Chaeryeong Confetti Panic
It turns out that Chanyeol is in good company – he is certainly not the only idol who was a little surprised by the effects of scene! ITZY's main dancer, Chaeryeong, also had a sudden surprise during the rehearsal of their "Dalla Dalla" scene, even though the staff had warned them of the next confetti gun. It must however have overcome its initial shock, because their performance has proved completely flawless!
5. The legendary fall of the S.Coups of SEVENTEEN
We could not talk about unexpected scene ghosts without mentioning this legendary moment of SEVENTEEN's beginnings. Although some idols shudder like Chanyeol or shout like Chaeryeong against the effects of scene, we have never seen a reaction as emblematic as the moment when S.Coups completely fell after a fireworks shot near him. Fortunately, he was not hurt and he seems to have overcome his fear. Character development, indeed!
6. Jennie's butterfly spawn by BLACKPINK
BLACKPINK's daughter, Jennie, had all the fright on the set of "Running Man", but not from somewhere she could have expected! His fear of a small innocent butterfly is guaranteed to be laughing, and the confusion of the hosts in the face of his excessive reaction is just as hilarious. She was so scared that her eyes even began to water! Fans have noted that Jennie's amazing reactions make her the main variety show, and that's the proof.

7. Stray Kids' Han at Lotte World
Stray Kids visited Lotte World as part of its ongoing series "The 9th", and the group of energetic boys was thrilled with the prospect of a fun day at an amusement park. The stays have been treated with all kinds of quality shenanigans, including a close-up camera of the god of rap and the Han squirrel part-time rollercoaster. The editors did not pity him because they hilariously captivated each cry, and the soulless look in his eyes as the merry-go-round stopped did not go unnoticed!
8. Twice the dahyun in Switzerland
Dahyun seemed definitely less enthusiastic when TWICE visited Schilthorn in Switzerland and decided to try the Thrill Walk experience. Their trip was filled with stunning mountain views, but it seems like Dahyun was too stressed to enjoy them! Her adorable responses to the gliding adventure (perfectly safe) made ONCE laugh once, and the other members who kindly helped her seemed to find it all very funny too.
9. Nam Do Hyon Ghost Stuff of X1
The ghostly joke is a familiar segment for the usual "Produce" viewers, and fans have been treated to dozens of hilarious frights as the seasons go by. However, Nam Do Hyon, 14, would have certainly lived in infamy. The young rapper was famous for his ultra-cool stage character during his time in the series, but his facade was completely broken during this surprise joke. He is so shocked that he is even afraid of the gazelle. We could laugh if his reaction was not too hilarious!
10. The ghostly joke of Red Velvet
Nam Do Hyon is far from the only victim of a ghostly joke – Red Velvet members have all had a crush! When the group visited "Make Me Viral" in 2017, it was greeted by a very unexpected guest as he watched a compilation of their own theatrical scenes. Their terrified reaction to a black-haired ghost sprinting on the set is a chaos that causes laughter, and surprisingly, it seems that the youngest member, Yeri, is the one who holds it the strongest!
11. Scary GOT7 Mark BamBam
The director of GOT7 played on this phantom farce, it's completely hilarious, but there is something to know that it is Mark, the teammate of BamBam, under this wig which makes 10 times more funny when he leaves the room. His reaction to the joke video is relatively tame (it's not like Jackson's terrified scream!), But when he reserves it in the hallway after Mark's ghost has emerged under the table, his extra personality is fully revealed.
