Police do not use water cannons in places of worship, says Fuzi

SUBANG JAYA: The police did not use a water cannon to disperse the crowd in a Hindu temple located in the USJ 25, Putra Heights, near here, since standard operating procedures only allow not its use near places of worship. .

Fuzi was asked to comment on the claims of some neighborhoods, who wondered why the police had not used water cannons to disperse the crowd.

He had previously visited Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim, a firefighter from the Subang Jaya Emergency Medical Relief Service (EMRS), who had been assaulted by members of the crowd and seriously injured.

Fuzi said the firefighter's situation was sad because he was only doing his job of helping to put out a fire and help those in need.

Asked about claims that the police would not have prevented the crowd from attacking the firefighter and damaged the One City Mall, Fuzi said the crowd had acted in an area not covered by police.

"The police are not everywhere. They attacked when we were not there. They did not do it in our presence.

"The crowd came into the area when we were traveling. A shopping center is far enough from the temple, about a kilometer away. You can not expect us to cover the entire region unless we have specific information, "he said.

When asked if the developer, One City Development, had filed a police report on the incident, Fuzi said that he could not confirm it because he had not been informed.

Fuzi asked the people to help police identify and arrest those responsible for starting the riot.
