Best new phones coming in 2019

What new phones will arrive in 2019? And what new features can we expect to see?

With many rumors about upcoming phones, it's time to take a quick look at what 2019 will bring us.

Samsung Galaxy S10 series

Expected release: February – April 2019

Samsung will probably announce three different versions of the Galaxy S10, which could adopt a new powerful chip based on the innovative 7-nm manufacturing process, which means that these phones would be much faster than the flagship Android 2018 series.

The rumors do not concern one, not two, but three new phones, so let's break them down, one by one:

Samsung Flex

Expected release: first half of 2019

Samsung gave us a first glimpse of its first collapsible phone under the nickname Samsung Flex late 2018 at Samsung's Deveoper conference, and it really looks like a revolutionary device.

The design presented by Samsung includes a thicker phone than the current smartphones, but having a similar rectangular shape with a screen, like traditional phones. But unfold it and discover a brand new gigantic screen, similar to a tablet.

LG G8 ThinQ

Expected release: February – April 2019

Although we do not know much about the LG G8 ThinQ, we know the product is coming in and we know it will be LG's best phone in the first half. Until now, our best guess regarding the G8 relies on a patent from LG for a truly geless-free phone with a cut-out in the screen for two front-facing cameras. Such a futuristic design would certainly turn many heads, but of course, a patent filed does not guarantee that this technology actually arrives at the G8.

We expect, however, that the G8 will adopt the V40 triple camera system, released late 2018, with a standard camera plus a telephoto lens for portraits as well as a third wide-angle lens. The life of the battery has been a sore point for LG phones in recent years. So we really hope that society will also improve in this area.

Sony is on an ambitious schedule: it releases new high-end phones every six months or so, much faster than the traditional one-year publishing schedule proposed by other companies. That is why it is reasonable to expect the new Sony Xperia XZ4 to debut at Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona in February. It usually takes a few months for Sony to launch the phone they broadcast in February. So we expect the XZ4 to actually hit the store shelves sometime in May or June 2019.

What can we expect? The new Snapdragon 855 system chip, the first of its kind developed by Qualcomm, is based on a 7nm manufacturing process that dramatically improves performance, an improved camera and, hopefully, missing gesture navigation on Sony 2018 phones.

Nokia 9

The Chinese company Huawei may be under fire from critics in the United States, where its phones are banned, but it is growing rapidly around the world. The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro will be the long-awaited successors of the P20 series, and we expect them to adopt the new Face Recognition and Digital Fingerprint Security System of the P20 Series. Mate 20 Pro current, in addition to further enhance the performance of the camera. .

Of course, we also expect the P30 series to be equipped with the powerful Kirin 980 system chip. In addition, expect new variations of the iconic Huawei's iconic gradient designs, and why not even new editions Porsche P30 Pro.
