(Reuters) – Minjee Lee became the first woman to win the Greg Norman medal as the best Australian golfer on the international stage after a brilliant year in which she placed in the top 10 in the world rankings .
Aged 22, number six in the world in 2018, two-time winners Jason Day and Marc Leishman are among the winners of Australia's most prestigious individual golf honor.
"I am honored to have won such a prestigious award alongside two extraordinary golfers already in Marc and Jason," Lee said.
"I've had a great 2018 season and it's a very good way to be recognized for it … I hope that (I) will be able to have a bigger and better l & rsquo; Next year. "
