Selangor exco regrets the words of the Muslim group

SHAH ALAM: Selangor exco V Ganabatirau apologized for his remarks, accusing a "Muslim group" of Monday's attack on Sri Maha Mariamman Temple in Seafield.

"I would like to apologize if I had offended anyone," he told the state assembly of Selangor today.

Ganabatirau, in his condemnation of the attack, had initially stated that it was the work of a "Muslim group", but then changed his statement by replacing the phrase " gangsters".
