The biggest failure (and the worst film) of 2018 was probably the Aamir Khan-Amitabh Bachchan theatrical book. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya of Dhoom 3, the most expensive film in Bollywood, with a budget of 3 billion Indian rupees, opened modestly at the box office and failed to connect to the public.
Enthusiastic viewers at the prospect of seeing Khan and Bachchan for the first time on the screen were disappointed by the film's generic script and boring characters. The fact that even Katrina Kaif's small role could not help sell the film to the public was an insult to the injury. Critics have also been decidedly harsh (and rightly so), with the film resting at 18% on rotten tomatoes.

With all this in mind, lead actor Aamir Khan generously decided to take on the responsibility of inflicting the spectators the trouble of seeing the film mediocre.
"I think we were wrong and I would like to take full responsibility for it. We made great efforts to make a good movie and we did not hesitate to do everything we could, but we were wrong. There are people who liked the film and we are grateful to them, but they are in the minority.
Most people did not like our film – we are aware of it. I also want to apologize to my audience, because this time, I could not entertain them. I know that people came to theaters with a lot of expectations but they did not like the movie, "said the stars of PK and Dhoom 3.

He went on to say, "The audience is free to say what they think of the film. What I can say is that we have certainly tried our best level and I feel really bad that we have not managed to entertain the public. So, next time, we'll try harder. I do not feel comfortable talking about all these things in public, because when I make a film, I feel really close to him. It's like our own child, so if the film failed to leave its mark, it will remain like my child. "
If it's agreeably kind of him to assume responsibility for the movie's many flaws, do not forget that his performance (with Big B) is one of the few things that fans and fans the critics have boasted. So, taking his fall, he not only shows how much he is a great artist, but he points out how much he values the fans and their reactions. There is no doubt that Khan, renowned for his memorable roles, will be more selective in his upcoming films. This may be the reason why Aamir Khan left the main role of Saare Jahan Se Accha in the film. The next film will be directed by Shah Rukh Khan.
