Perisic is one of the best European football players having played for his club, Inter Milan and Croatia.
In 2017, Mourinho desperately needed to bring Perisic to Old Trafford after assigning a role for him on the left side of the attack.
But Manchester United was unable to hear on a pay with Inter and he then signed a new contract with the Serie A team.
In the summer, Mourinho lamented that United did not comply with the Croatian saying: "I wanted Ivan Perisic.
"He left Croatia for Borussia Dortmund, then for Wolfsburg, then for Inter.
"I do not know why he did not come to Manchester United, I wanted him."
However, Perisic may have opened the door for a possible move to England in the future.
Perisic was questioned about the possibility of playing in the Premier League.
And he told reporters, "I've always said that [playing in the Premier League] is my dream
"In football, anything is possible, we will see in the future.
"Now I'm focusing on Inter."
Inter only needs one point of its match against Tottenham at Wembley tonight.
But Perisic said his team would not play for a draw.
"We know how to play just to win," he said.
"We know that they are strong and if we play to take only one point, we will lose."
